Test Version

The guys over at www.truevision3d.com released a public version of their TV6.5 Engine. This means i'm now allowed to put test versions of my game up for download.

The first test version of Total Tactical Warfare supports singleplayer and multiplayer over LAN. It includes 2 maps.

Here's a link to the download:
TTW_Test_2.zip (33MB)

For it to work you'll need the .net Framework 2.0 and DirectX 9.

Please tell me what you think about the following:
- general impression
- menus and user interface
- ingame controls
- soldier behaviour/ai
- sound effects

Things you can ignore for now:
- missing/crappy animations
- missing effects
- ugly models/textures

Happy testing :)

- general impression
Buggy

- menus and user interface
I like the feel of it but there are a lot of bugs.

- ingame controls
I like them.

- soldier behaviour/ai
The AI should walk around.
And the soldiers should look around (still standing in the same place.)

- sound effects
Could use some work.

Hi go+ and thanks for testing the game.

- menus and user interface
Could you tell what bugs exactly you encountered? Then i can try and fix em.

- ingame controls
:)

- soldier behaviour/ai
Yeah, the AI is still pretty basic at the moment. Will definitely make the soldiers walk around in the future.

The soldiers looking around is a good idea. I'll try and get that in game soon.

The buttons on the menus are black for about 1s.
And the picture box's that have the soldiers in them flicker when clicking on them.
